According to the Afghan health ministry’s data, out of those people whose tests have been processed, 35 have come back positive.

Afghanistan’s health officials reported 35 additional coronavirus cases and no related deaths Sunday, September 27.

That brings the nationwide documented totals to 39,227 confirmed cases of COVID-19 while the total deaths stood at 1,453 known deaths since the outbreak.

The data indicated that 16 people recovered within the past 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 32,642.

According to the ministry’s data, 267 people have been tested for the virus within the last 24 hours.
