The Afghan Public Health Ministry announced that within the last 24 hours, one coronavirus related death was registered, raising the total to 1,446 in the country.
The total recoveries hit 32,610 as recently 34 patients having been contracted with illness got better after the illness.
Worldwide, 969,578 people have died from COVID-19 while more than 31.5 have been infected by the novel coronavirus that causes it, according to a tally by John Hopkins University.
