At least eight Taliban fighters were killed in Charbolak district of Balkh province yesterday evening, a statement in the 209th Shaheen Army Corps said.
Eight Taliban fighters were killed in an air strike carried out by Afghan forces in Sabzikar area of the northern Balkh province’s Charbolak district on Saturday, read the statement.
The air strike was conducted after the armed Taliban stormed Afghan forces, according to the statement.
The Taliban group has yet to comment.
