Rahmat Shah, the intelligence chief for Arghistan district of Kandahar province was killed in a Taliban bombing late yesterday, September 01, Bahir Ahmadi, a spokesman for the provincial governor told TKG.
The blast also killed another person and injured an Afghan soldier, according to the source.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing, saying at least four government forces, including the spy chief, have been killed.
