The latest data related to the pandemic indicated that as many as 3,106,348 people have been infected by the virus, while the active cases stood at 710,771.
Following the United States and Brazil, India has become the third country with the highest number of COVID-19 cases and deaths.
Another statistics in the south-Asian country also indicated a rise: India’s recovery rate continues to increase and now with 2,338,035 patients recovered from the disease, total recoveries stands at 75.3 percent.
Globally, there have been over 23 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, while the total deaths has hit 807,530.
