Abdul Manan Shiwa-e Sharq, the Deputy Minister of Publication Affairs for the Ministry of Information and Culture came under armed attack in the capital Kabul city, today in the morning, Saber Momand, a spokesman for the ministry confirmed to TKG.
Mr. Shiwa-e Sharq wasn’t inside the car, according to the spokesperson; only his driver was injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The motive of the attack was unclear and an investigation into the incident was ongoing, said Mr. Momand.
