In a press release, the interior ministry said Afghan forces have arrested 13 criminals in five provinces of the country, namely, Nimrouz, Kunduz, Kandahar, Kapisa and the southern province of Helmand.
The arrested suspects were involved in armed robberies, murders and abduction, according to the statement.
Afghanistan recently saw a rise in criminal activities, provoking citizens’ deep concern.
