The figures announced by Reuters indicated that a total of 2,954,665 people have been infected with the coronavirus across the United States, while the data brought the country’s total deaths to 130,346.
In Brazil, which has now the second highest number of coronavirus cases, the total of confirmed infections have risen to 1,623,284, with 65,487 fatalities.
India with 697,413 coronavirus cases surpassed Russia, marking the third country with the highest number of infections. The country recorded 19,693 related deaths, according to the source.
India is then followed by the Russia with a total of 687,862 cases of infection as of today and 10,296 related deaths.
Then it is followed respectively by UK (315,579) and Peru (305,703), with more than three hundred thousand cases of the novel coronavirus.
