Afghanistan: Health Ministry Announces Additional 22 Coronavirus Related Deaths

The Afghan health ministry reported additional cases on Tuesday (July 7), saying the country has now registered 33,384 coronavirus cases and a total of 920 deaths since the outbreak.

In the last 24 hours, 194 more people tested positive for the deadly disease, and 22 additional people lost the battle for their lives after contracting it, a tally by the Afghan health ministry indicated.

Another statistic has also indicated a rise: the number of patients recovered from the illness. According to health ministry data, 126 additional patients recovered from the novel coronavirus, bringing the toll to 20,151.
