The country recorded some 57,683 coronavirus infections within the last 24 hours, the highest daily rise in number of cases for the third day in a row.
The country’s nationwide case count has jumped to 2,793,022 as new cases were registered in the last 24 hours, while the death toll stood at 129,432, according to the data by JHU tracker.
Worldwide at least 11,047,217 people have been reported infected with the coronavirus pandemic whereas a total of 524,614 have died of the illness, as per the JHU coronavirus tracker.
