Afghanistan’s coronavirus count has hit 31,836 as 319 additional COVID-19 cases were reported over the past 24 hours.
The country’s total number of COVID-19 cases stands at 31,836 on Wednesday, with 15,651 COVID-19 patients cured so far.
Kabul is the most affected province, followed by Herat and Balkh. A total of 133 new COVID-19 cases and 24 deaths reported in Kabul on Wednesday, according to a data by the health ministry.
The country’s COVID-19 death toll has hit 774, as 28 patients having been infected with the disease died within the past 24 hours, according to a tally of data released by the health ministry.
Another statistic also indicated rise: the number of recoveries passed 15,000 as 1,520 patients got better after the illness.
