At least seven member of pro-government forces were killed as the armed Taliban fighters attacked their outpost last night in Parwan’s Antan area of Siahgerd district, Wahida Shahkar, a spokeswoman for the provincial governor confirmed.
One of the militias was injured and two others were taken by the Taliban insurgents, she added.
There have been casualties to the armed group too, said Shahkar, adding a dead body of a Taliban fighter was found in the area where the clashes took place.
The armed Taliban, however, haven’t commented in regard with the incident.
