May 12 (The Killid Group) – Local officials in the eastern Nangarhar province confirmed a member of provincial council has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Dr. Nasir Kamawal, a member of Nangarhar’s provincial council has tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 virus, said Ataullah Khogyani, a spokesman for the provincial governor.
Following few days that samples of coronavirus disease were brought in a regional laboratory, late in last night’s evening Kamawal’s test came back positive, Khogyani added.
So far, a total of 181 residents of Nangarhar province have been infected with the highly contagious coronavirus (COVID-19).
