18 April (The Killid Group) − Iran’s official coronavirus death toll rose to 4,958 on Saturday, according to the health ministry officials in the country.
Kianoush Jahanpour, Iran’s health ministry spokesman said in a news conference that the infection toll in the country has surpassed 79,000, while 4,958 have died of the illness.
Worldwide, the coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting 185 countries, with more than 2 million confirmed infections and more than 154,000 deaths, according to a tally by JHU.
The virus is spreading rapidly in many countries and the death toll is still climbing, but the majority of people are recovering from the infection
