March 31 (The Killid Group) — According to a tally by John Hopkins University, more than 7,150 people have died in the United States from COVID-19.

There have been at least 278,458 cases of coronavirus that have been detected and tested in the United States, according to the data provided by the Coronavirus Center of John Hopkins University.

The U.S. media have, meanwhile, reported, the infection toll includes cases from every state, the District of Columbia and several U.S. territories, as well as repatriated cases.

There have been 1,123,024 confirmed infection cases from COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, with a total of 59,140 deaths.

The United States has the highest number of infection but with more than 7,150 deaths is still behind Italy.

Italy, which is the epicenter of the illness in Europe, has reported 119,827 cases of infection, with at least 14,681 deaths, according to JHU coronavirus center.

After Italy, Spain with 11,198 deaths, has the world’s second-highest number of fatalities and has 119,199 confirmed cases of infection.

Then it is followed by Germany, France, China and Iran with most cases of infection and highest number of deaths.

The novel coronavirus, officially known as COVID-19, which first emerged in China’s central city of Wuhan has now spread to almost every continent and has killed thousands of people
