April 1 (The Killid Group) — Police in Kabul city have arrested two kidnappers involved in an attempt to abduct an Afghan Air Force pilot, said officials in the ministry of interior.
Late on Tuesday evening, two armed kidnappers attempted to abduct a pilot of the Afghan Air Force in PD3 of Kabul city, Tariq Arian, the spokesperson for the MoI said.
The Afghan police forces, however, arrested the suspects near PD10 district of Kabul, Arian added.
According to him, the weapons used in the kidnappings as well as a Hummer-type vehicle were also seized from them.
Arian further added that the ministry of interior was investigating the incident.
