(TKG) – Health officials in Iran announced that the death toll from the coronavirus, officially known as COVID-19, has risen to 15.
Iranian media have quoted health officials in the country as saying that the death toll from the coronavirus has reached to 15 while the number of infected reported 95.
Of the total number of infected, sixteen reported in the holy city of Qom, nine in Fars, six in Gilan, Nishapoor, and Alburz, one in Qeshm and one in Mazandaran, according to the sources.
Outside mainland China, Iran is the second country with reporting a large number of deaths due to the coronavirus epidemic.
