(TKG) – Air strikes in the eastern province of Laghman killed 27 Taliban fighters, officials said.
It was quoted in a statement issued by a national security army corps as saying, as a result of air strikes conducted by Afghan forces in Alisheng district of Laghman province, 27 armed Taliban were killed.
The Taliban group, however, has not commented on the incident so far.
These Taliban fighters were killed exactly at the time when security forces have conducted clearance operations against anti-government militants.
