(TKG) ─ U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted late on Saturday [January 25, 2020] that U.S. won’t lift sanctions on Iran in order to open negotiations with Iran.

Late on Saturday, U.S. President Trump wrote on his twitter page in response to the Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif as saying that sanctions won’t be removed on Iran.

“Iranian Foreign Minister says Iran wants to negotiate with The United States, but wants sanctions removed. @FoxNews @OANN No Thanks!” Trump tweeted in English on Saturday and later in Farsi.

Earlier, Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s Foreign Minister, had an interview with Der Spiegel saying that Iran is ready to negotiate with U.S. if sanctions are removed.

On a newest report, Iran’s Foreign Minister again tweeted that “@realdonaldtrump is better advised to base his foreign policy comments & decisions on facts, rather than @FoxNews headlines or his Farsi translators.”

The tensions between Iran and U.S. has reached to its highest point after the U.S. killed top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in a drone strike in Baghdad on Jan. 3, after which Iran took retaliation through firing drone missiles on U.S. military bases in Iraq.
