(TKG) ─ According to Sayed Mohammad Shirazi, head of Hajj and Religious Affairs Directorate in Herat, the director of Hajj and Religious Affairs in Pastun-Zarghun district of Herat was shot near his house early Sunday morning [January 26, 2020].
Abdurrahim, the director of Hajj and Religious Affairs in Pashtun-Zarghun district of Herat province was shot by two unidentified gunmen as a result of which he was first injured but later died on way to the hospital, the head of Hajj and Religious Affairs told TKG.
Jilani Farhad, the spokesperson for the governor of Herat confirmed the reports, adding that a thorough investigations of the incident is under way.
