(TKG) ─ Afghanistan’s U19 cricket team defeated UAE by 160 runs in their second match in the U19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa and will progress to the quarterfinals.
Afghanistan’s U19 cricket team opted to bat first after winning the toss and then posted 265-6 in 50 overs.
In their second match against UAE, Afghanistan U19 Cricket Team led by Farhan Zakhil, dominated in the game and defeated their opponents by a massive margin of 160 runs. Shafiqullah Gafari was honored by the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his outstanding bowling.
Afghanistan will face Canada on Friday in their next group match that will be kicked off at 12:30p.m. Afghanistan time.
