Afghan President Attends Davos Meeting in Switzerland
(TKG) ─ Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left Kabul on Tuesday [January 21, 2020] for Switzerland to participate the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, the Afghan Presidential Palace (ARG) said.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left Kabul for Davos, Switzerland to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2020 meeting being held on Tuesday [January 21, 2020], the palace said in a statement.
The statement said that attending the WEF annual meeting, president Ghani will deliver a speech focusing on future of Afghanistan’s economy, growth and the country’s vital role in regional connectivity.
The World Economic Forum is held annually where thousands of world leaders, politicians and business innovators gather to start panel discussions over economy, politics, climate change, and multilateral cooperation between countries across the world.
