(TKG) ─ Helmand security officials have reported the death of the Taliban insurgents who attacked an ANA checkpoint in Sangin district on Saturday [December 28, 2019].
The commander of the 215th Maiwand Corps, Major General Zabihullah Mohmand, told Killid that six Taliban militants, who left casualties to 14 security and ANA forces, have been killed in an artillery attack by Afghan forces in Sangin district.
It was reportedly said that on Saturday, six Taliban insurgents attacked an ANA checkpoint in Sangin district of Helmand, leaving ten ANA soldiers killed and four others injured.
The Taliban have yet not commented on the matter.
