Iraqi security officials said on Sunday [December 22, 2019] that four Iraqi soldiers have been killed in a raid by ISIS group in the northern area of Salahuddin.
ISIS gunmen attacked one of the Iraqi security checkpoints yesterday, leaving four Iraqi soldiers killed.
According to another source, one of the fighters of Hashd al-Sha’bi group in Iraq has also been killed during the clash.
The ISIS group collapsed in Iraq in 2016, but has regained strength to conduct guerrilla attacks across the country.
