It has been reported by Pakistani media on Sunday [December 15, 2019] as saying that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in a trip in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the visit, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and the overall security situation in the region.

According to Pakistani media, PM Imran Khan has travelled to Saudi Arabia to seek a patch-up between Saudi Arabia and Iran due to the recent conflicts.

Pakistani media had before reported that Pakistan has been trying to seek a patch-up between Iran and Saudi Arabia since September 2019 when the Saudi oil facilities came under missile attacks.

It was Imran Khan’s fourth trip to Saudi Arabia aimed to mediate between Iran and Saudi Arabia to resolve the regional conflicts.
