Afghan Police Special Forces have seized tens of kilograms of narcotics during the operation in Ahmad Aba district of Paktia.
The office of Police Command in Paktia said that the Afghan forces have seized 238 kilograms of processed cannabis along with two Kalashnikovs in Spina Qala area of Paktia.
According to the source, no one has been detained in this regard.
It is worth mentioning that the recent report by SIGAR indicated that United States has spent $8.94 billion on counter-narcotics efforts in Afghanistan since 2002, but this country still remains one of the world’s major drug producers and exporters.
