President Donald Trump said on Saturday [December 7, 2019] that he does not think North Korean leader Kim Jong Un wants to interfere in next year’s U.S. presidential election.
“I’d be surprised if North Korea acted hostilely,” Trump said at the White House on Saturday [December 7, 2019].
Trump said this in a statement after North Korea’s ambassador to the United Nations said on Saturday that denuclearization was off the negotiating table with the United States.
He had earlier said that if North Korea continued its offensive, U.S. would have to take military actions against it.
