Trump, Johnson Talks over Global Security
U.S. President Donald Trump met British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and held talks on global security [December 3, 2019].
In a statement issued by the office of British Prime Minister, the two sides praised the increase in the NATO defense budget and agreed to jointly fight security threats.
Johnson has previously discussed with German Prime Minister Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the recent events in Syria and Libya and the counterterrorism.
The spokesperson for British Prime Minister told the media that the sides in the meeting agreed on economic cooperation and increase of NATO military budget.
It has been reported that President Trump traveled to London to attend the NATO summit.
