HERAT (The Killid Group) – Herat police arrested a man suspected of drug trafficking, as he attempted to carry some drugs staffed in dozens of capsules to neighboring country of Iran, local authorities said.
Abdul Ahad Wali Zada, spokesman for the Herat police, told The Killid that the suspect staffed in heroin into at least 32 capsules in a bid to smuggle it to Iran, but Counter Narcotic Police of Afghanistan in Herat identified the suspect and arrested.
Police has discovered six guns from the suspect, Wali Zada said.
Meanwhile, in another news local authorities said some 10 people have been arrested in similar charges, as well as in holding undocumented arms and robbery extortion cases from different parts of the province.
