KABUL (The Killid Group) – The Presidential Palace denied to recent remarks by CEO Abdullah Abdullah on President Ashraf Ghani’s abuse of government facilities.
Sediq Sediqqi, spokesperson for the President of Afghanistan, said in tweet Sunday evening, “Mr. Ashraf Ghani, while running for the next term, is an incumbent president of Afghanistan, exercising his jurisdiction in the executive, judicial, and legislative branches, based on the country’s constitutional law.”
“Ghani, denying allegations made by Dr. Abdullah and other presidential candidates, assures that all government implementations have been carried out in light of the constitution and other applicable laws,” he added.

Meanwhile, the President pledges not to interfere in any electio affairs and not to use government facilities and powers, as he urges the candidates to respect the country’s constitution.
During a campaign rally in Kabul Sunday, CEO Abdullah Abduallah – who is also running for president – accused Ghani of using government facilities for election campaigns.
