Occupying Mountains and Destroying Natural Resources

Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is a landlocked country located in South-Central Asia. It is bordered by Pakistan in the south and east; Iran in the west; Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan in the north; and in the far northeast, China. Much of its 652,000 square kilometers is covered by the Hindu Kush mountain range at the western end of the Himalayas, separating the Amu Darya and Indus valleys.

Mountaineering and civilizing up in the rocky hills have become one of the biggest urban problems more recently, and it is in increase day by day, which destroys the look of the mountains and natural resources, as well as affecting the modernized and developed cities.

Hermits and people living in mountains say unemployment, lack of facilities and droughts in recent years in their villages are of the main factors that brought them to cities and settling in the mountains of Afghan capital, Kabul.
