GHAZNI (The Killid Group) – At least six Afghan National Army members Killed and three Afghan National Police wounded during a battle with the armed Taliban in Qara Bagh of southeastern province, local authorities confirmed.
Mohammad Arif Noori, spokesman for Ghazni Governor, told The Killid the forces were on a curfew duty Sunday night in Khonyan area, where they faced ambush attack by the militants.
During the clashes, six members of Afghan army died and three police injured, he added.
The insurgents may have also bored casualties, although the exact figure is not clear, he further said.
Meanwhile, the Taliban claimed the group carried an attack against a security post in Khonyan area, killing at least 10 Afghan forces, as well as gaining control over the post.
