LOGAR (The Killid Group) – Afghan security forces conducted several operations in central Logar province, inflicting heavy casualties to the Taliban militants, and detained further a number, local authorities said.
According to sources, at least nine Taliban militants killed during a raid in Azrah district of Logar.
Meanwhile, forces arrested five Taliban militants during another operation in Baraki Barak district of the province, and destroyed a small cache of weapons.
The Taliban group did not immediately comment on the incident.
