Taliban Set School on Fire in Kabul: MoIA

KABUL (The Killid Group) – The Taliban set an all-girls school on fire in Shakar Dara district of Kabul Province Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement.

KABUL (The Killid Group) – The Taliban set an all-girls school on fire in Shakar Dara district of Kabul Province Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement.

Fire engulfed Boyazar Girls High School in Nasiri village of Shakar Dara district at around 1:30am Monday, said Nusrat Rahimi, Spokesman for MoIA, claiming the Taliban set the fire.

But the Taliban denied any role in the school being torched.

Meanwhile, local authorities said hundreds of girls were receiving education at the school.
