(The Killid Group) – The Taliban says no exact date has been set for a peace deal with the United States, with President Trump exclaiming both parties hope to “make a deal”.
Suhail Shaheen, spokesman to Taliban political office in Qatar, said the exact date of signing a peace agreement with the US delegation has not been clarified; when the details of the deal are finalized, it will be announced.
“We are certain that – in Afghanistan once again independence will be rebound in its true sense – where all people will be proud of,” he said in a tweet.
United States President Donald Trump optimistic about the outcomes of at least eight round of talks with the Taliban, saying he will sign a peace agreement with the group “if possible” in near future.

Meanwhile, a number of US congressmen have viewed the agreement with the Taliban as a mistake by Trump, warning of re-emergence of the ISIL and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.
Lindsey Graham, a US Republican senator, said Trump’s deal with the Taliban is similar to Obama’s mistake in a nuclear deal with Iran.
