Call 5000, Lodge Complaints at Presidential Palace!
KABUL (The Killid Group) – Upon a presidential decree, Afghan government has established a center to address complaints and grievances of the general public, marking the first ever 24/7 service for the citizens at the Presidential Palace.
According to the statement by Palace released Thursday, the Center aims to effectively bridge the delivery of services to the general public, as it strives to provide satisfactory conclusion to the complaints and grievances, as well as suggestions of the citizens, through the most appropriate and efficient means available.
In order to be audited within the legal processes, Afghan citizens living in or out of the country can now on dial 5000 to submit their complaints, comments and suggestions to 24/7 service of the Center, the statement read.
After filing citizens’ complaints, comments and suggestions are forwarded to the relevant departments and authorities for follow-up; the enforcement process will be then thoroughly studied and followed by a tasked team, as they will keep the complainants updated of the implementation.
For the first time, a complaint line has been set up in the office of the Presidential to reach people of the nation anytime of the day, although some government agencies failed to comply with the public's need through a similar initiative.
