GHAZNI (The Killid Group) – At least two Taliban commanders killed during clashes in southeastern province of Ghazni, local authorities said, and dozens wounded.

Arif Noori, Spokesman for the Ghazni Governor, told The Killid, “at least 21 armed Taliban, including two of their commanders, are killed and wounded (during several operations) in Andar, Gelan and Deh Yak districts on Tuesday and Wednesday night.”

“Five of their vehicles are damaged,” he added.

According to Noori, during first operation Wednesday night in Yaro Kalay village of Andar district, Naser Akhondzada (known as Kash Akhondzada), a key Taliban leader killed along with his five members.

Afghan forces also destroyed an explosive-laden vehicle of the Taliban, which were attempted to be used for a terrorist attack in the city, Noori said.

In the second operation Wednesday, “at least six Taliban killed during airstrike by Resolute Support forces in Gelan district, he added. “two motorcycle have been wrecked.”

Meanwhile, in third operation Tuesday night, Afghan forces killed Taliban commander Munir (goes with a single name) and wounded eight members of the group in Deh Yak district. Four vehicles have been destroyed during the operation.

Afghan security forces and civilians did not bear any casualties, according to Noori.
