BALKH – At least 10 Taliban insurgent killed and further five wounded as Afghan security forces rebuffed attack at army base in northern Balkh province.
The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the Taliban militants attacked the army base in Suryan area of Chahar Bolak district.
According to the statement, 10 militants killed during the clashes and wounded five further.
The Taliban immediately did not comment on the incident.
