FARAH (The Killid) – Farah clashes inflicted heavy casualties to the Taliban insurgents, as Afghan security forces carried airstrike and ground attack against the group in Bala Blook and Bakva districts, local authorities confirmed.
Mohibullah Mohib, Spokesman for the Farah police, told The Killid, “today morning, as the result of airstrike by Afghan force against a Taliban vehicle (Sarach) in Naw Abad village of Bakva district, at least six Taliban – including Mowlawi Khuda Dad known as Muzamil – killed.”
The car was full of explosive devices, he added.
Meanwhile, in another battle in Nang Abad village in Center of Farah province, at least one Talib killed and two further injured.
Mohib exclaimed, forces have also seized a number of Improvised Explosive Device after they diffused them.
Taliban immediately did not comment on the incident.
