KANDAHAR (The Killid) – At least three people killed and further 20 wounded, as an embedded IED in a motorcycle went off in Kandahar province, local authorities confirmed.
Around 8am Monday, an explosive device embedded to a motorcycle went off in Spin Boldak Ganj Bazar, which killed at least three and injured 20 further civilians.
Bahir Ahmad, Spokesman for the Kandahar Governor, told The Killid, “the device had been staffed in a motorcycle by anti-government insurgents that was exploded in the very crowded bazar of Ganj.”
Meanwhile, sources said some 26 people suffered casualties in the blast, which contradicts the authority’s report of 23 victims.
No group or individual has immediately asserted responsibility for the attack
