BALKH (The Killid) – At least 10 Taliban insurgents killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in Sholgara and Chatmal districts of Balkh province in north, local authorities confirmed.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, Spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told The Killid, “last night (Monday) in an airstrike and ground battle of Afghan force at Toghonchi of Sholgara district and areas in Pulbangala and Asyab Gurg of Chatmal district in Balkh, 10 anti-government insurgents killed and further six wounded.”
Afghan security force and civilians did not bear any casualties during the clashes.
Taliban did not comment on the incident.
