FARYAB (The Killid) – At least seven Taliban, including their commander, killed during clashes with Afghan security forces Saturday night at Nodar of Qesar district and Ghazari of Khowaja Sabz Posh of Faryab province, local authorities said.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, Spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told The Killid, “during the clashes at least seven anti-government insurgents, including one of their commander Mullah Abdul Shukoor, killed and further 14 injured.”
Meanwhile, one Afghan security force killed and seven further wounded, he added.
Civilians did not bear any casualties in the battle
Taliban did not immediately report on the incident.
