KABUL (The Killid) – Ministry of Educations said Sunday in a statement schoolchildren are prohibited from taking part in any welcoming events of local and foreign guests, as well as in electoral campaigns.

According to the statement, no legal person would be allowed to use students during any advertisement, rallies, including electoral campaign.

The decision comes after thorough consideration of security situations in the country, in order to prevent any outcome that affects students physically or spiritually, as well as preventing the Ministry from any political involvement.

The participation of students in reception of officials (including to the Minister of Education’s) is in contrast with the principle and educational obligation, the statement read.

Meanwhile, the MoE called all its provincial directorates to observe and apply the above mentioned policy, as it will help prevent any challenges imposed to their schooling routine.
