NANGARHAR (The Killid) – Afghan security forces arrested a guard of ISIL key commander Muhafez Omar Khurasani during an operation in Nangarhar province, local authorities said.
Attaullah Khugyani, Spokesman for the Nangarhar Governor, told The Killid, “last night (Wednesday), Afghan security forces – during an operation at Wech Tangi of Behsood district in the province – arrested Abdul Wajid, a guard of ISIL key commander Muhafez Omar Khurasani.”
According to Khugyani, the suspect is originally from Haska Mina district of Nangarhar, who joined the militant group since two years.
Meanwhile in another news from the province, Afghan National Forces arrested a suicide plotter from the PD1 of the Jalalabad city.
Daesh militant immediately did not comment on the incident.
