Afghan President Ashraf Ghani discussed a wide-range of topics with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Tuesday, including ongoing security situations and accessibility of the kingdom to Afghan goods.
The talks that happened to be a phone call, the two leaders discussed security issues, counter-terrorism, market access to Afghan goods and Saudi Arabia’s role in regional connectivity.
“We discussed security, counterterrorism, market-access to Afghan goods, and Saudi’s contribution and role in regional connectivity,” Ghani said in a tweet Tuesday.

The call comes amid negotiations on Afghan peace, where the Taliban held seven rounds of talks with the United States, and have so far refused to sit on a face-to-face talks with Afghan government.
