BAGHLAN (The Killid) – At least five Afghan national police were killed, as a roadside mine went off in North of the country, local authorities confirmed, two further wounded.

BAGHLAN (The Killid) – At least five Afghan national police were killed, as a roadside mine went off in North of the country, local authorities confirmed, two further wounded.

Ahamad Jawed Besharat, Spokesman for the local police, told The Killid, “the incident occurred yesterday afternoon (Saturday), while Afghan national police members were crossing the road.”

According to Besharat, the explosion come at a time a police Humvee vehicle was heading to Khost Farang district from Guzargah Noor district – resulted to death of at least five police on board and wounded further two.

No group has immediately claimed responsibility.
