TAKHAR (The Killid) – Afghan security forces arrested a Burqa-clad Taliban commander during an operation in northeast province of Afghanistan, the 209th Shaheen Corps said on a statement.
According to the statement, forces caught the Commander as he was in a bid to leave the province.
The anti-government armed militants often disguise themselves in Burqas and women attire in attempt to escape the military operations or conduct attacks.
Officials did not provide further details regarding the detained Taliban commander and his identity.
The Taliban did not comment immediately.
