KABUL (The Killid) – Officials arrested at least 11 suspects for drug trafficking and arm robbery in different parts of the Afghan capital, Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement Wednesday.
According to the statement, the ministry’s special unit for combating narcotics in a joint operation Tuesday has captured nine drug traffickers from the second, fourth, eleventh, twelfth divisions and Bagrami district.
Police discovered and seized a gun, some cash from alleged sell of narcotics and roughly 20kgs of drugs, including opium and marijuana.
Meanwhile, in another news, local police have arrested two suspects for gunrunning and arm robbery at PD7 of the Kabul city.
Police discovered two guns and dagger knife.
