NANGARHAR (The Killid) – Unknown gunmen shot two managers of the appeal court dead in Nangarhar province Wednesday, local authorities said.
Attaullah Khugsyani, Spokesman for the Nangarhar Governor, told The Killid, “around 7am today (Wednesday) some unidentified gunmen shot dead at least two managers of the appeal court at PD4 of Jalalabad city in Nangarhar province.”
The perpetrators fled the scene, but investigations underway to bring them to justice.
No group or individual has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
It comes at a time residents raise concern over increasing number of violence, murder and robbery extortion in the province more recently.
