GHOOR (The Killid) – At least five Afghan security forces were killed during an attack carried by the Taliban insurgents Monday, provincial council confirmed.
Fazlul Haq Ehsan, Head of the Provincial Council, told The Killid, “the Taliban attacked against security posts at center of the Tolak district last night (Monday).”
Clashes went on several hours, where five Afghan forces were killed and further six were wounded, he added.
Taliban did not immediately comment on the incident.
Previously Ghoor Governor Mohammad Naser Khazey said more than 50 Afghan forces were killed during the Taliban attack since beginning of the year, adding more than 100 were wounded.
